The Leibniz-Institute of Agricultural Development in Central and Eastern Europe (IAMO) is a leading international centre of expertise for the scientific analysis of agricultural and rural development in transition economies. IAMO offers a stimulating research environment in an international, ambitious, and multidisciplinary team.
IAMO’s Agricultural Policy Department wants to strengthen its capacity in the area of agricultural policy analysis, political economy, and institutional economics. Therefore, the Department is seeking to fill the following position immediately:
One Post-Doc
Requirements:
- Qualified doctoral degree in agricultural economics, economics or related social sciences with a focus on empirical research
- Outstanding knowledge of quantitative methods
- Emerging record of international publications
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Knowledge of German and/ or Eastern European languages is welcome
The contract is initially limited to the period of 2 years; it may, in principle, be extended or converted into a permanent position. The salary is determined based on E13 of the TV-L pay scale.
