The Department of Politics and Public Administration in the Faculty of Politics - Law - Economics, seeks to fill this position by
April 1, 2023.

The Department of Politics and Public Administration is one of the largest social science institutes in Germany and provides research and teaching at the highest level in the areas of (i) Democracy and Public Policy, (ii) International Studies, (iii) Management and Public Administration, and (iv) Data and Methods. As a collegial and pluralistic department, we warmly welcome applications from candidates of all diversity dimensions.
The successful candidate specializes in the study of public management research. A doctoral degree in public administration or public management is a pre-requisite.
Applicants should have a strong publication record in international, high-ranked public administration or public management journals and a well-defined research agenda. Experience in university teaching
in the field of public management broadly defined is required. The ability to teach in German is an asset. The successful candidate is expected to teach at the BA/MA level and in the MA Program
“Management and Public Administration” in particular.
