JUNIOR RESEARCH GROUP LEADER RNA BIOLOGY
The Institute for Molecular Infection Biology (IMIB) at the University of Würzburg seeks to recruit a new group leader. We are interested in researchers in the early phase of their career who have already earned recognition in RNA biology. Candidates with projects in the area of RNA networks and RNA-protein interactions with relevance to infection biology are preferred, but all outstanding scientists with a background in microbiology, immunology, cancer biology and molecular biology are encouraged to apply. Wewill assume an interest in applying single-cell RNA-seq and spatial transcriptomics approaches. The position includes laboratory operating expenses and additional salaries to build an independent research group. We also plan to offer an affiliation with the local Helmholtz Institute for RNA-based Infection Research. Laboratory space will be provided in a state-ofthe-art research building with bio-containment, molecular imaging, high-throughput genomics, and animal facilities. The building is specifically designed to foster collaborative research and houses several additional young investigator groups as well as laboratories run by faculty members. See
www.imibwuerzburg.de and
