and jointly run by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Heidelberg University. Its research focus is the systematic study of geometric spaces with regard to their
asymptotic invariants and their behaviour under deformations degenerations, and taking limits. It provides a structured framework for a cross-boundary PhD training in geometry.
You will benefit from a broad, inspiring mathematical environment, mentoring by the PIs and advanced and tailor-made courses on the topics of the RTG. An intensive
visitor's program, frequent workshops and PhD schools will contribute to a vibrant scientific environment. In addition, we offer professional skills modules.
