Professor Motion Design engl. (m/f/d)
Your duties:
- Implementation of introductory and advanced courses in the field of time-based audiovisual media in our Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes
- Advice and support for prospective students and students
- Conducting exams, supervision of seminar, project, bachelor and master theses
- Development of partnerships with companies and institutions for joint practical projects and further networking of the university in Berlin
- Acquisition of partner companies, supervision of internships
- Administrative activities and committee work
- Supervision of the editing and animation studios at Campus Berlin
Your Profile:
- Degree in relevant university studies (e.g. Motion Graphic Design, Animation)
- Proof of special artistic aptitude through a descriptive portfolio of selected works
- Ability to conduct courses in English language
- Proof of the ability to work scientifically
- Qualified professional experience, at least five years, of which three years outside the university
- Extensive theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the areas of motion graphic design, 2D animation, 3D animation, digital compositing are welcome.
- Teaching experience at universities
- Agency experience
- Publication and research activities welcome
- In addition very good knowledge of German desired
- Strong ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
- Organisational skills and operational readiness
