Brand Academy is a young and dynamic private University of Applied Sciences focused on preparing young professionals for jobs in the brand and the creative industry. Our Bachelor and Master study courses aim at creating, leading and maintaining successful brands.
The Department of Management invites applicants for positions as
PROFESSORS OF BRAND MANAGEMENT (FULL-TIME) AND INTERNATIONAL MARKETING (FULL-TIME) TO BE FILLED AT THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE DATE (ACCORDING TO W2-LEVEL)
The candidate is expected to represent the field of Brand Management & Marketing - national and international - at our university. As a University of Applied Sciences, we expect the applicant to have both a broad range of scientific and practical expertise in national and international marketing. Advancing collaborations with national and international groups and interacting with the brand community is also important.
Pedagogical skills gained by sufficient teaching experience in an academic context are required as well as the capacity of scientific work demonstrated by a PhD (doctorate). The teaching language of the International Marketing position is English. The candidate for the Brand Management position is expected to teach in German.
Brand Academy attaches great importance to the support of its students. Therefore, it is indispensable for our professors to show a high level of attendance at the university. We expect them to be located in Hamburg or its close vicinity. Applications of females are explicitly welcome.
