The location and facilities of EBS Business School in Oestrich-Winkel offer excellent conditions for its faculty to provide individual support to the students on site. The campus life of EBS Business School is characterized by personal contact, close interaction with students and personal exchange among faculty members which is further facilitated by regular research workshops and guest lecturers.

At EBS Business School, the Group of Finance and Accounting is seeking to appoint a new faculty member in the position of a Professor f/m/d of Econometrics. We are open to all fields of Econometrics (e.g. theoretical and applied Econometrics). Our teaching needs include basic Statistics and Econometrics as well as more advanced courses such as Financial Econometrics, Data Science and Analytics, Machine Learning etc. EBS Business School invites national and international applications.

Your Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining an active research agenda aimed at making a significant contribution in the field of expertise
• Teaching across all levels, i.e. BSc, MSc, MBA and PhD programs, supervision / co-supervision of doctoral students
• Participation in the University’s academic services
• To interact with our corporate network
• To secure research funding

Your Profile:

• Doctoral degree in a relevant field
• Evidence of high-calibre research proven by a track-record of international publications
• Experience and a demonstrated commitment to teaching
• International applicants are encouraged, German language skills are not required
