DIGITAL AND AUTONOMOUS

Digitalization is creating new opportunities and tasks in construction. For this
reason, as part of its current growth concept, TUHH has established a professorship
in the field of building planning, construction and operation using digital
We are seeking an individual who will commit to establishing research and teaching
in this area, as well as the automation of construction processes, at TUHH.
The professorship requires in-depth knowledge and experience in the area of
digitalization of construction to ensure collaborative research on digitalization
with computer science institutes and other institutions that are currently being
established at TUHH.
Individuals with a background in academia or construction with in-depth
knowledge of construction informatics are invited to apply. The applicant
should be an expert in at least one of the following areas:
Building information modelling (BIM) including program interfaces
and data management (Big Data/BIM)
Process optimization with digital methods
From automation to the autonomous construction site.
The professorship at the School of Civil Engineering will involve teaching construction
informatics to students studying civil engineering and environmental
engineering. The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
