initially limited until 30.06.2024.
Further scientific qualification through research is made possible within the framework of the position and strongly supported by the DZHW. The position is part of the
international research project EUROGRADUATE 2022.
Your profile
You have an excellent degree in a discipline relevant to higher education and educational research (e.g. sociology, economics, psychology or educational sciences). Your research interests lie in the field of empirical education and labour market research and you want to specifically expand your academic competences in this area. You have excellent knowledge of the methods of empirical social research and are experienced in dealing with quantitative data. Ideally, you have already gained initial experience with survey projects, the analysis of large data sets and an international research project. You enjoy working in a team and independent scientific work is a standard for you. You have an excellent command of English (competence level C1 or C2).
Your tasks
In a versatile position you will play a key role in the second round of the European pilot survey EUROGRADUATE 2022. The project aims to establish a longterm European higher education graduate survey and is supported by the European Commission. You will work in a team that is part of an international consortium coordinated by the DZHW in four European countries. You will support the team in conducting the survey in 18 European countries, analysing the German data and making international comparisons, and you will support with coordinating the consortium. You will combine these tasks with your own scientific development.
