This professorship is funded by the Tenure Track Programme of the German
Federal Goverment and the Federal States.
The future holder of the position should represent Sports Didactics in conjunction with
a natural or social science focus in research and teaching.
The job duties include a teaching load of 4 hours per week, after positive completion
of the interim evaluation 6 hours per week, the school practical supervision of the
students, empirical research in sports didactics, acquisition of third-party funds,
examination activities and participation in academic self-administration.
Prerequisites are: a completed relevant university degree; the particular qualification
for research work, which is usually proven by the outstanding quality of a relevant
doctorate; pedagogical qualification, which is usually proven by experience in
teaching or training; and usually three years of school practice.
In addition, the candidate is expected to consider gender and inclusion-related issues
in research and teaching and to be willing to work in interdisciplinary cooperation.
If the candidate has been employed as an academic assistant before or after the
doctorate, the doctoral and employment phases should not exceed 6 years in total.
The tenure-track professorship is limited to six years. In case of approval, the tenuretrack
professor will be appointed to a professorship (W3). The requirements for
