Our Management Faculty focuses on research and teaching in the interplay of managerial practices, symbolic meanings, institutional logics, and global challenges. We are open for and interested in various approaches and theories such as practice theory, discourse analysis, critical theory, systems theory, poststructuralist approaches, gender theory, critical management studies, cultural studies and consumer culture theory.
For the start of the winter semester we are looking for a:
Professor in the area of Business Psychology (m/f/d)
You will represent the field of business psychology in teaching and research. In addition to the basic subjects of work, organizational and personnel psychology, you will bring in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm for these topics, for example: international human resources management, intercultural management, new work, leadership, change management, diversity management, digital & sustainability transformation.
We are looking for a candidate with the following profile:
- deep commitment to the university mission and the academic profile of the management faculty
- engagement in both applied and critical teaching and research in the areas of your
academic and practical expertise, work with our international faculty and the student body
- experience of working with diverse, international, and multicultural student groups
- proven professional experience and an international biography
- active professional network in your area of expertise desirable
- formal requirements of § 48 LHG Baden-Württemberg
You should be willing to
- engage actively, creatively and joyfully in our academic community and become part of
Karl’s academic self-administration and everyday life and living culture
- teach courses on undergraduate, graduate and executive level in your area of expertise,
but also in basic management subjects (teaching load according to a professorship for a university of applied sciences)
- coordinate our Business Psychology degree program (support of students and lecturers, management of academic quality, further academic development, public outreach, development of relevant networks)
- participate in the strategic development of the university, especially through the
development of future study programs
- contribute to joint (inter- and transdisciplinary) research projects
