Professor (W3) or Assistant Professor (W1, tenure track) for Management & Research Methods (f/m/d)
ESCP Europe is looking for a candidate with a background in a core management discipline (e.g., Human
Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Strategy) who carries out empirical research and
demonstrates a strong desire to teach subjects related to empirical research methods. Teaching should cover
topics such as research methods, academic skills and academic writing.

Requirements: Candidates are expected to be published in renowned academic journals. Teaching will take
place for undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programmes, as well as in executive education. It is
possible to teach entirely in English but candidates are expected to have a basic knowledge in German or
to show the willingness to learn German. We are explicitly looking for candidates applying new on- and
offline teaching methods and (digital) formats. A willingness to work with colleagues from our network of
ESCP Europe campuses in London, Madrid, Paris, Torino, & Warsaw is expected. Furthermore, candidates
should demonstrate skills in developing and expanding relationships with companies and professional
organisations, and extend the reputation of ESCP Europe Business School Berlin and its programmes. ESCP
Europe Berlin is a state-accredited, research-based business school (
wissenschaftliche Hochschule). Therefore,
§100 BerlHG (
Berliner Hochschulgesetz) applies in the case of professors (habilitation or equivalent
achievements). §102a BerlHG applies in the case of assistant (junior) professors. Tenure can be offered for
assistant professors after positive interim and final evaluations.
