The Hertie School of Governance seeks to fill the position of a Research Assistant (m/f/div) to Christian Traxler, Professor of Economics on a flexible time basis (20, 30 or 40 hours per month). The post is for an initial 6 months period; starting date as soon as possible.
Research Assistant (m/f/div) to Professor of Economics
Support research activities, in particular the collection, preparation and analysis of data from research projects in different areas of Public and/or Behavioral Economics
Other tasks as defined by the project lead
Enrolled Master‘s student in Economics, International Relations, Political Science or related disciplines
Excellent command of English (the Hertie School´s working language is English)
Professional proficiency in German is a plus, working knowledge is required
A strong affinity to work with data
Experience with using Stata and/or R
Experience with LaTex and programming experience (e.g. Python, Java) is an advantage but not a prerequisite
