The Department of Economics is part of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics. We are a highly international and research-oriented Department. More than 30 full-time junior and senior professors together with numerous PhD students form an international community dedicated to studying all aspects of economics. Applicants must have completed a PhD in Economics before starting their employment at the University of Vienna (proposed starting date is September 2021). Expertise in structural estimation in microeconomics is required. Knowledge of German is an asset but not required.
